An Approach of AHP for Human Factors Analysis in the Aircraft Icing Accident
نویسندگان
چکیده
The reasons that icing of aircraft leads to an accident are diverse. Ensuring the aircraft to take off clearly is the important factor of giving support to flying safety. Human factor is one of the important factors which have caused the accidents. In this paper, because of the complexity and uncertainty of human factors, we introduce Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to create weight model of human factors by analyzing and deciding importance of all kinds of human factors. Based on this basis, further study on assessment of human factors in aircraft icing accidents is developed, and the arrangement in importance order of human factors in aircraft icing has been given according to the given weight distribution of human factors. This paper provides reliable basis for equipment improvement and personnel management. © 2011 Published by Elsevier Ltd. Ice can form on aircraft surface at 0° C or colder temperatures when liquid water is present. This can happen both on the ground and at the flight levels of the aircraft. Aircraft icing has not only an impact on flight safety but has also an economic impact. According to the report of research department of the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration), from 1982 to 2001, 13% of accidents due to ai...
متن کاملPrioritization of Suburban Accident Factors Based on Analytical Network Process
The safety management of transportation system leads to decrease in a number of traffic accidents. Identification of the primary reasons in accident incidence is the initial step in controlling the crashes. The source of accidents is divided into 3 groups; namely, human, environment and traffic. Due to the complex nature of traffic accidents, Multi-Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM) methods can be...
متن کاملImplementation of "MSG-3" for Crack Growth Analysis of Aircraft SSI Components
The main goal of this article is to implement the MSG-3 process in structure field for an SSI component of b747 aircraft. This process is expected toincrease the ease of aircraft maintenance and its safety level. MSG-3 logic took a top-down or consequence of failure approachmeaning that MSG-3 reduces the maintenance cost and upgrades safety. Moreover, it cansignificantly help saving thetime and...
